Pulsars are end-products from the evolution of massive stars. Over the past 60 years, there have been many significant discoveries, such as the discoveries of the first pulsars, the first binaries, millisecond pulsars, magnetars, the only triple systems. However, many fundamental questions about pulsars remain unanswered, such as how many pulsars are there in the Milky Way, how they are distributed, what the luminosity function is like? Where and how the pulsar radiation is generated in the pulsar magnetosphere? Which channels to form what kinds of pulsar binaries? Since 2000, we have used the FAST to conduct a pulsar survey in the accessible sky area within ±10 degrees of the galactic plane. So far, about 900 pulsars have been discovered. We have revealed the faint pulsar population in the Milky Way and have detected 9 cases of FRB. Among the newly discovered pulsars, there are more than 200 millisecond pulsars; Among 180 binary pulsars, there are 10 double neutron star systems. Particular interesting discoveries include a pulsar binary system with the shortest orbital period (53 minutes), a pulsar in an evolving triple system, the double neutron stars with the largest eccentricity, the double neutron stars with lightest total mass, an eclipsing pulsar in a compact orbit formed from the common envelope evolution, double neutron stars in ultracompact orbits of 15 minutes and 90 minutes. We have measured the relativistic effects of some pulsar binary systems, and determined the masses of a dozen of neutron stars.
